Contributed Configuration Hints

Rationale

Over the years, we've seen some good information posted to public Carnegie Mellon bboards concerning how to configure a machine to be less succeptable to outside attacks, etc. However, as the bboards are pruned, things go away and the information is lost.

To help combat this, we've put together this small site. When we see something posted that is reasonable, it will be added here.

Note: This site is not for security patches and it shouldn't be used as such - it should be viewed as a location to find custom configuration information.
